Making a difference in Collier County

Alumni Continuing Education (ACE)

Graduation from the Masters Program launches your next chapter in the GNL journey. As an alumnus, you’ll have access to a dynamic slate of continuing education programs that keep you current on Collier County’s emerging issues. From in depth briefings on growth, environment and human services to balanced conversations on public policy, GNL’s ACE Committee curates programs that deepen your understanding and expand your impact.

Social & Networking Events

Members enjoy social gatherings and networking opportunities designed to foster genuine friendships and strong professional connections. GNL’s alumni events help classmates stay connected while welcoming new members into an engaged, service-minded network.

Done-in-a-Day

Done-in-a-Day service projects offer members an easy and rewarding way to give back throughout the year. These hands-on opportunities combine community impact with camaraderie, allowing members to support local organizations while strengthening bonds with fellow alumni.

GNL Forums

GNL periodically partners with community organizations to host public forums on important, nonpartisan issues—informing both our members and the broader Collier County community. Offered free of charge, these forums foster public engagement by connecting participants with experts and organizations working to understand and address key community challenges. Consistently well attended, GNL forums feature respected speakers and generate significant local media coverage.

Class Events

Class events are where many of GNL’s most enduring connections are made. Sharing the Masters Program experience—session days, networking events, socials, and class service projects—helps classmates build genuine friendships and a trusted network.

Members Making a Meaningful Impact

GNL has not just trained leaders—it has multiplied impact across Collier County. Our members serve as board chairs, founders, mentors, fundraisers, and trusted stewards, providing direction and expertise to organizations during periods of growth, crisis, and transformation. Their influence spans education, housing, hunger relief, health, the arts, environmental stewardship, and civic life.

GNL’s greatest legacy is not just an organization—it is a network of changemakers quietly strengthening Collier County every day.
